You have to learn to have really good sex.

The biggest misconception I see with couples is that they think good sex comes naturally. In reality, this is rarely the case. It takes intentional time and practice to learn how to have good sex with your partner consistently.

My new online course, Modern Sex, will support you in the process of learning, practicing and experiencing really-good-full-body pleasure with your partner. Through video and audio clips, dozens of at-home practices and exercises, you’ll be playfully and mindfully guided as you learn the art of sexual connection.
I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Modern Sex is an online resource for couples. This course will help you explore pleasure, intimacy and curiosity with your partner.

I created this course for the modern couple.

Modern Sex is designed for partners looking to connect or reconnect with each other and learn useful, effective skills to create a sex life that is fulfilling and open to pleasure.

The structure of the course is practical, immersive and hands on – you'll learn by doing. This is the most effective way to learn, change behaviour and rewire neural pathways for you as an individual, and in your relationship. You can learn the content at whatever pace you feel most comfortable with – there are no hard-and-fast rules (pun intended).

I encourage you to tailor the lessons to your relationship, and participate at the level you feel comfortable with. There is no pressure to do, be or share anything that is not useful. Ready to rekindle that flame?

Who is this for?

This course is for people of all gender, orientation,  identity, relationship choices and stages. The course educates, empowers, supports and coaches on a vast range of sexual wellbeing topics. This will be useful for all people regardless of their relationship 'stage' or level of experience. The sessions will be useful for anyone who is committed, curious and interested.

How do I tell my partner I want to do this course?

It may feel tricky to broach the discussion of seeking support. If this is the case, speak about the benefits of participating in the course together. Rather than focusing on what's 'wrong' with them or your relationship, speak about the potential.

What if my partner doesn't want to do the course?

It will be most useful to participate together, but if your partner isn't interested in learning or doing the exercises with you, there will be activities, ideas and even practices you can take away and integrate into your relationship.

It's important for you to know; you are responsible for your own pleasure. So if you do the course on your own, go you!! When you change, shift or grow, you will also influence or change the dynamic of your relationship. When the dynamic between you changes, the relationship also changes. And here's the powerful part, if the relationship changes, your partner changes. So even if you do the course on your own, you alone can have a powerful impact on your relationship.

We're nervous, will we feel safe?

Grounding, safety and agency are fundamental to this work. Each part of the course can be tailored to you and how you are showing up on the day. It is natural to feel uncomfortable, awkward, anxious or nervous at first. For many, speaking about sex is like learning a new language (and I wouldn't expect you to speak fluent German, Portuguese and Nepalese in our first session!). You may feel uncomfortable and that's ok! You will not be pushed beyond your boundaries.

Will there be homework?

Yes! But think of this as at home practice. The intention is to integrate, explore, understand and / or be curious about pleasure rather than set you "work" that isn't useful for you.
